Taste of Singapore

Singapore spicy noodles... Yummy!

The famous Chicken Satay.

Kiwi Ice Kachang. Beats the heat of the summer.

What a "Rainbow Wonderland"! Variety of kachang to choose from. Would it be nice to try everything on the menu? Yum!

Thanks to my cousin, manong Romy and his wife manang Ana May for being a great host. They let us stay in their place and treated us for the hawker dinner experience the night before we left Singapore. I guess you really have to spend a great amount of time to get to know one culture's delicacy. It was a delight to visit the Serangoon Garden Hawker. We got to taste some of the delicious cuisine of Singapore. When we were at the Food Republic in Vivo City, we just ordered those that are familiar to our eyes and palate. "C" was afraid to try the unfamiliar. Which is understandable because she's not that adventurous when it comes to food. In Singapore, they cook almost all of their food in coconut milk even the rice. Boy, did we miss our plain rice!

This was the best... Sugarcane juice is definitely on my list of reasons to go back to Singapore.

Night Safari Singapore

1st night in Singapore and the journey begun for "C" at the facade of night safari. A one of a kind experience that's worth to remember. The tram ride was great even though it was raining. Which makes it more realistic being in the forest and all.

That's me, "T" being playful with the kids.

Sentosa Experience

Diosdado Macapagal International Airport

When inside the Airport, there are certain things we should keep in mind. Albeit our Singapore trip was way back 2009, I want to share the experience to remind that we should always use our common sense.

As the the background says "TRAVEL SMART". This was taken at the boarding area of Diosdado Macapagal International Airport in Clark, Pampanga. "C" is just chillin' while waiting for our very 1st travel out of the country together on an airplane which is so cool.

There's the plane! Excited as we are... there's a downside to this. We had to walk towards it under the heat of the sun. ugh!

That's the facade of DMIA. Taken before boarding the plane.

That's the Air Asia plane. I believe that just arrived from Malaysia.

A view of the airplane's wing.
